Allett Mowers Introduce Two New Team Members

Allett Mowers are delighted to announce the appointment of two new team members. Allow us to introduce you to Quality and Manufacturing Engineer, James Moss, and Parts and Aftersales Coordinator, Tom Holmes. In September 2017, we welcomed Quality and Manufacturing Engineer, James Moss to the team at Allett’s HQ and mower manufacturing facility in Stafford. James has over twenty years’ experience in precision engineering, and previously owned his family-run engineering business GAYRAY Engineering. His experience and passion for engineering is reflected in his varied role at Allett. James is heavily involved in quality control, and is responsible for ensuring that each and every mower that Allett manufacture are of the highest quality, and each component is faultless. James is also responsible for ensuring that customers’ expectations are met on all levels, and Allett’s range of high-quality mowers live up their reputation.James Moss Quality Engineer James’ inner engineer doesn’t stop outside of work however, as he enjoys building and riding motorcycles in his spare time, in addition to mountain biking. James is also a family man and loves nothing more than spending time with the family. Engineering and Quality Manager, John Grittins says, “Quality is core to our brand values here at Allett Mowers. The appointment of James as Allett’s Quality and Manufacturing Engineer is key to making sure every product that carries the Allett name can match our customers’ high expectations. Previously, James ran his own business and had previously supplied Allett with machined parts for many years. He already has a good insight into our business as well as a sound technical understanding. James being a keen motorcycle racer knows that quality counts, especially when travelling at 120mph on race days astride, a machine he has built himself. I am very much looking forward to working alongside James on future projects.” Commenting on his new career venture, James says, “I am very excited that I have been given the opportunity to join Allett. We neveTom Holmesr sell a mower and leave our customers to just ‘figure it out’. That’s why in September we also welcomed Parts and Aftersales Coordinator, Tom Holmes to the Allett team. Tom is armed with a wealth of knowledge in the Industrial Breakdown sector, with nine years’ experience in parts and servicing behind him. During Tom’s time as a breakdown engineer, he was responsible for attending industrial sites and factories to mend broken down industrial machines, including forklifts and other heavy duty equipment. His role would require him to have a sound technical knowledge of the mechanics of complex machinery, as well as the ability to communicate issues to customers, which makes him a perfect addition to the team. "Aftersales care is vital to maintaining the brand values here at Allett Mowers. The appointment of Tom as Allett’s Aftersales Technical Advisor means he is the first point of contact for customer enquiries and is critical in ensuring customers are well cared for and receive the support the Allett brand expects" (James Till- Operations Director) “It’s exciting to be given an opportunity to be joining a Leading British company within in its field. Outside of work, Tom from Walsall, West Midlands is a fitness fanatic and enjoys watching and participating in football and MMA (mixed martial arts).
