BJB42 tractor-mounted turf scarifier
Gets to the root of the matter with hard-wearing, close-spaced blades
The BJB42 turf scarifier is suitable for use behind compact tractors and turf work vehicles of at least 12hp, equipped with Category One three-point linkage and 540rpm power take-off.
Designed to carry out effective turf scarification as part of seasonal surface renovation and reparation programmes, the BJB42 uses closely-spaced, tungsten-tipped blades to "root-out" moss, dead grass and other unwanted material while effectively aerating the surface layer and upper root zone.
Maximum working depth in standard configuration is 25mm, quickly adjustable using a pair of hand wheels. By removing every other blade, the machine can work down to 50mm deep, ideal for major renovation and re-seeding projects.
All material removed by the blades is discharged into a rear-mounted collector that can be emptied using a pull cord without leaving the driving seat. Hydraulic tipping can be specified as an option.
